The pain of a child drowning in hot water ending in death

News Desk:The mother was preparing to bathe her two-and-a-half-year-old daughter Rokaya Masum with hot water in a bucket. The bucket suddenly fell due to careless hand push. Rokaiya fell on the floor after being hit by the bucket. Then the hot water of the bucket falls and the whole body of the child starts to burn. She died on Wednesday after a five-day ordeal.

The accident took place at noon on Friday at a rented house in Eidgaon area of ​​Chittagong's Hathazari municipal area. The baby Rokaiya died last night while undergoing treatment at the Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute in Dhaka.

Rokaiya Raozan is the daughter of Maulana Muhammad Abu Darda Masum, a teacher at Daruchalam Madrasa. Rokaiya lived with her family in Hathazari. The burial of the child was completed at the house in Raozan municipal area on Thursday morning.

Muhammad Jane Alam, councilor of ward 5 of Raozan municipality, confirmed the news. At the same time, he called for caution in the use of hot water in winter.
