The child committed suicide as he was not allowed to have a picnic in Bogra

News Desk: Police have recovered the hanging body of a child named Nila in Bogra. Sadar Police Station and Phulbari Police Outpost recovered the body from a house in Namabal area of ​​Shakharia Union in Sadar Upazila at 7pm on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Nila, daughter of Liton Sarkar of Charpara Pram in Sonatala upazila.

However, he lived with his parents in a rented house in Namabal village. Upon receiving the news, Superintendent of Police Ali Ashraf Bhuiyan and Additional Superintendent of Police of Sadar Circle Faisal Mahmud visited the spot.

Citing the family, police said the child was initially thought to have committed suicide.

His grandfather's house is in Sonatala. When he wanted to have a picnic with his peers, his mother brought him to Shakharia on Saturday against his will He was arrogant with his parents about this. He lived alone at home as both his parents worked outside.

According to the police, he wrapped a scarf around his neck and hung it from the window grill of the house at any time between 3 pm and 5 pm. Police said no signs of injuries or torture were found on Nilar's body. Fulbari police outpost in-charge (inspector) Shafiqul Islam Shafiq said, "We have recovered the body of the child after receiving the news." The body is currently kept in the morgue of Shaheed Zia Medical College Hospital.

After the autopsy, his body will be handed over to his family. An unnatural death case has been filed at the Sadar police station over the incident. Bogra Sadar Circle Additional Superintendent of Police and District Police Media Spokesperson Faisal Mahmud said the child's family had not lodged any complaint against anyone.
