News Desk: The number of children suffering from Corona Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome or MIS is increasing in Bangladesh. The disease was first identified in Bangladesh in May after being detected in the United Kingdom and the United States in April this year.

Children are more at risk of dying from this disease as multiple organs including kidney, heart and liver are affected simultaneously. However, doctors say that if the treatment can be started within 72 hours, the patients can easily return to a healthy life.

Recently 3 children have been admitted to Dhaka Children's Hospital with symptoms of rare disease MIS-C. One returned home healthy but two are still receiving treatment. The happy parents are able to start the treatment on time and make the child safe.

The father of one child said he had a fever of 105 degrees. He would vomit after playing something.

Doctors advise not to keep the child at home if there is excessive fever, abnormal weakness, abdominal pain and rash for 5 days in a row. They are urged to bring the child to a large hospital with ICU facilities as more than one part of the body is affected at the same time. Pediatric Kidney Disease Professor. Shirin said the sooner you bring the baby, the sooner the baby can be healed.

Dhaka Children's Hospital Director Prof. Sophie said that since it causes more heart problems, the echo of the heart needs to be improved. Although more than 30 children were identified in some hospitals in Dhaka, a child admitted with a fever of 106 degrees Fahrenheit had to undergo second stage treatment to recover. So even if all these patients return home healthy, the parents do not have a chance to be safe, said the pediatrician.

Professor Dr. Sayeda Anwar said, follow-up is very important for this disease. Many times the veins constrict, reducing blood flow. It can also lead to death.

However, in the current reality, the IEDCR has not yet paid attention to the diagnosis or control of the disease, the IEDCR said. IEDCR Director Dr. Tahmina Sharmin said, we are doing research activities. I'm not doing anything at the moment about this.

Like the rest of the world, children under the age of 21 are being affected by this disease in Bangladesh. In addition to shortness of breath or coughing, the common symptoms of covid are many children having complications. Experts therefore call for the creation of widespread public awareness among parents and physicians for early detection of the disease.
