It looks like a green or dark purple shiny diamond in the middle of a reddish inlaid stone. In addition to beautification, jasmine is endowed with many qualities. This plant is also used as an herb. Very useful for malaria, skin diseases and insect bites. The juice of its young leaves acts as a tonic. The chemicals found in the leaves also act as anthelmintic, antipyretic and expectorant.
