News Desk: It is obligatory on every old man and knowledgeable Muslim to perform Jumu'ah prayers with the congregation. I want him to be a resident of the city or the village. However, Friday prayers are not obligatory for slaves, patients, travelers, children and women.

Hazrat Omar (may Allah be pleased with him) once issued a written edict to the people of Bahrain to this effect: جَمِّعُوْا حَيْثُمَا كُنْتُمْ This shows that the importance of Friday prayers is very high. The importance of Friday prayers

1. The importance of Jumu'ah prayers is so great that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) wanted to abstain from Jumu'ah or burn down the houses of the lazy. (Muslim, Mishkat)

2. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) further said, ‘Allaah seals the hearts of those who abandon Jumu’ah. Then they are among the heedless. '(Muslim, Mishkat)

3. He added, "The one who neglects and abandons three Fridays in a row, throws Islam back." (Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi, Mishkat)

4. In another narration, it is said that a person who abandons three Fridays without doing so is a hypocrite. (Ibn Khazaymah) Circumcision on Friday It is important for the believing Muslim to perform the important Friday prayers.

There are some special circumcisions in the collection of Jumu'ah. It is mentioned along with the narration of the hadith-

1. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: جَعَلَهُ اللهُ عِيْدًا ‘O Muslims! Allah has made Friday the day of (weekly) Eid for you. Take a bath and apply perfume on this day. ' (Muwatta, Ibn Majah, Mishkat)

2. On Friday, after taking a nice bath and wearing the best clothes and perfume as much as possible, go to the mosque first. (Bukhari, Mishkat)

3. Entering the mosque and proceeding towards the front row. (Nasai, Musnad Ahmad, Mishkat)

4. And before going and sitting in the mosque, first perform two rak'ats of 'Tahiyatul Masjid'. (Bukhari and Muslim, Mishkat) 5. Engage in as many rak'ats as you like (if possible) before sitting on the Khatib pulpit. (Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawood, Mishkat) . (When the Imam ascends the pulpit) Listening to the sermon silently and attentively. (Bukhari, Muslim, Mishkat) .

When entering the mosque while the khutbah is being performed (taking care not to harm others), just perform two rak'ats of ‘Tahiyatul Masjid’ prayers and sit down. (Muslim, Mishkat, Abu Dawood) Those who are lazy in performing Jumu'ah should pay attention to this command of Allah Almighty. In the Qur'an, Allah the Almighty instructs the believers that: یایها الذین امنوا اذا نودی للصلوۃ من یوم الجمعۃ فاسعوا الی ذکر الله و ذروا البیع ذلکم خیر لکم ان کنتم تعلمون O you who believe! When the call for prayer is made on Friday, then hasten to the remembrance of Allah (the prayer) and give up buying and selling. That is better for you, if you only knew. '(Surat al-Jumu'ah: 9) It is important to remember The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said that this day of Jumu'ah was first made obligatory on the Jews and the Nazarenes. But they disagree.

Then Allah guides us to this day (through revelation). Now all the people are following us. The Jews observe the next day (Saturday) and the Nazarenes observe the next day (Sunday). ' The Jews claim, since God did not create anything on Saturday and ascended to His throne on the throne; That is why the Jews chose this day as their weekly day of worship. The Nazarenes claim that since Allah initiates creation on Sundays, the Nazarenes prefer this day as a day of worship. Thus they (Jews and Christians) prefer their reasoning over the command of Allah. On the other hand, on Friday, all creation is completed and Adam (peace be upon him) is created as the last creation.

So this day is the best day of the week. As this day is designated as the day of weekly worship of the Muslim Ummah, their superiority over all the previous ummahs (Prophets) is proved. This is why Hazrat Kab bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say in a broken heart when he heard the call to prayer after he became blind. ‘May Allah have mercy! On Asad bin Jurarah; Because he was the first to establish Friday prayers with us before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came to Madinah from Makkah. ' Therefore, the believing Muslim should, realizing the importance of Friday prayers, observe the Sunnahs of this day properly and go to the mosque first and perform the Friday prayers. May Allaah grant the Muslim Ummah the Tawfeeq to observe the Jumu'ah prayers in accordance with the rules of Sunnah. Amen.
