Hasan Jabed from Brahmanbaria: A child named Sagar Sarkar (7) was killed when he was hit by a roller at Akhaura in Brahmanbaria. The incident took place at Moniyanda area of ​​Akhaura-Agartala railway under construction on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Sagar Sarkar, son of Gopesh Sarkar, a tenant of Moniyand village in Akhaura Moniyand union. The child lived with his family. According to the locals, the child was playing on the road at around 5:30 pm on Saturday while the ground was being rolled on the Akhaura-Agartala railway under construction. At this time the sea pushed the roller.

Akhaura Police Station OC Rasul Ahmad Nizami said, "I have sent police to the spot after receiving the news." The body was handed over to the family as there was no complaint from the victim's family.
