Initiatives for rehabilitation and alternative employment to stop begging in Kaliakair

Kaliakair Correspondent: In Dhaljora Union Parishad of Kaliakair Upazila of Gazipur, on the occasion of rehabilitation of beggars and alternative employment, siblings have been selected. The event was held in front of the council on Tuesday morning.

It is learned that the government of Bangladesh has taken the initiative to rehabilitate beggars and provide alternative employment to stop begging. On that occasion, the event was organized for the first time in the Dhaljora Union Parishad of Kaliakair Upazila. On the occasion, the press imam of the Upazila mosque, Qari Abdur Rahim, described the evils of begging in the light of the Quran and Sunnah.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kazi Hafizul Amin, Social Service Officer Mizanur Rahman, UP Chairman Md Akhtaruzzaman, and others were present.
