Tofazzal Hossain, Pabna: Farmer Mozammel Haque Babur's dream did not come true with the 36-month-old black-and-striped Fijian bull bull 'Swapnaraj' of Chatmohar upazila of Pabna. He is upset by the frustration of dream breaking. The price of that cow was 20 lakh rupees. That cow had to be sold for only 5 lakh 5 thousand rupees. Mozammel Haque Babu, a farmer from Baghilbari Madhyapara village in Handial union of Chatmohar upazila of Pabna, said, “I had many dreams about 'Swapnaraj'. But it was not fulfilled. All dreams are shattered. We are suffering from depression. "I tried to sell the cow from home before Eid," he said. But did not. Later on Tuesday (July 5) before Eid, I took Swapnaraj to Gabtali Pashurhat in Dhaka for sale. As the desired price did not rise there, I was forced to sell the cow at the last moment on the eve of Eid (July 9) for only 5 lakh 5 thousand rupees. And starting from taking the cow to Dhaka, the total cost has been 40 thousand rupees. Mozammel Haque Babu told CNI that the reason for not getting the price is that there is no demand for big cows. Everyone likes medium and small size cows. That is why the desired price could not be obtained by selling. Once I took it to Dhaka with difficulty. The hassle costs to bring it back again. All in all, I was forced to sell even after knowing the losses. He said that the profit from selling the dream king is a far cry. I have lost a lot of money. I will not sell at least ten lakh rupees. I will raise and sell small and medium size cows. It will not have to worry about selling and will not have to count losses. Note that the six-toothed Swapnaraj cow weighed at least 36 pounds. Farmer Mozammel Haque Babu raised the price to Tk 20 lakh for sale. In addition to the normal balanced diet of 16 to 18 kg three times a day, apples, bananas, grapes and other fruits were fed as breakfast.
