A total of 834 new dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours, according to a bulletin issued on Saturday by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
No deaths from dengue were reported during this period.
According to the DGHS report, among the new patients, 167 were admitted in Barishal Division, 103 in Chattogram Division, 229 in Dhaka Division (outside the city corporations), 203 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 60 in Dhaka South City Corporation, and 72 in Mymensingh Division (outside the city corporation area).
Meanwhile, 819 dengue patients were discharged from hospitals across the country in the past 24 hours. With this, a total of 73,785 patients have recovered and been released so far this year.
Since the beginning of 2025, Bangladesh has recorded 77,348 hospitalizations due to dengue, and 307 deaths have been reported nationwide.
