The Health Department says that in the last 24 hours, 1,371 people have developed symptoms of measles across the country. 615 of them are from Dhaka division. At the same time, 729 people were admitted to hospital with measles symptoms, of which 274 were in Dhaka Division. The least number of patients were admitted in Rangpur (11) and Mymensingh (17).
713 people admitted with measles symptoms were discharged in the last 24 hours. Among them, maximum 305 patients left the hospital in Dhaka division, 12 in Rajshahi division and 103 in Chittagong and Khulna divisions.
According to the information given in the report of the Department of Health, a total of 30 children have died of measles since March 15. During this time, 156 children died with symptoms of measles. Apart from this, out of 17 thousand 24 people with measles symptoms, 10 thousand 954 people were admitted to the hospital. 2 thousand 721 of them have been diagnosed with measles. And 8 thousand 369 people returned home from the hospital after recovery.
