In the past 24 hours, 4 people have died from dengue, the mosquito-borne Aedes-transmitted disease, across Bangladesh.
The information was released on Tuesday (November 4) by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The report states that between 8:00 AM Monday (November 3) and 8:00 AM Tuesday, 1,101 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals.
So far this year, a total of 73,923 people have been hospitalized due to dengue.
Over the past week, 14 people have died nationwide, bringing the total dengue death toll this year to 288.
