In the past 24 hours, one person has died from dengue, while another 374 patients have been admitted to hospitals.
The Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reported this information on Saturday (October 4).
According to the report, between 8:00 a.m. Friday and 8:00 a.m. Saturday, 94 patients were admitted to hospitals in Dhaka city, 102 in Chattogram division, 67 in Dhaka division, 63 in Barishal division, 37 in Mymensingh division, and 11 in Rajshahi division.
So far this year, dengue has claimed 203 lives — 106 men and 97 women. Additionally, a total of 48,465 people have been hospitalized with the disease across the country in 2025.
