News Desk: One more person has died from dengue in the past 24 hours, while 374 new patients have been admitted to hospitals across the country.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the figures in its report from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room on Saturday (October 4).
According to the report, between 8 am Friday and 8 am Saturday, 94 patients were admitted to hospitals in Dhaka city, 102 in Chattogram division, 67 in Dhaka division, 63 in Barishal, 37 in Mymensingh, and 11 in Rajshahi division.
With the latest fatality, the total number of dengue-related deaths this year has risen to 203, including 106 men and 97 women. So far in 2025, a total of 48,465 people have been hospitalized due to the mosquito-borne disease.
