In the past 24 hours, 5 more people have died of dengue across the country. During the same period, 668 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals.
This information was given in a dengue-related press release issued on Wednesday by the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
As of September 23 this year, a total of 43,173 people have been infected with dengue. Among them, 60.3% are men and 39.7% are women. In the last 24 hours alone, one more dengue-related death was reported.
So far this year, 182 people have died from dengue.
