News Desk: In the past 24 hours, six more people have died from dengue in the country. Additionally, 586 new dengue patients were admitted to hospitals during the same period.
This information was reported on Thursday (September 11) in the regular dengue update released by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
According to the report, among the recent fatalities, three were from Dhaka South City Corporation, while one each were reported from Dhaka North City Corporation, Mymensingh Division, and Rajshahi Division.
With these deaths, the total number of dengue-related fatalities this year has reached 145. The total number of confirmed dengue cases has now risen to 36,662.
Currently, 1,792 dengue patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country, of whom 1,046 are from outside Dhaka.
