NEWS DESK: The Directorate General of Health Services has issued a special alert regarding a recruitment notice that has been circulating at the upazila level across the country.
The alert states that a fraudulent network is misleading the general public by spreading fake recruitment notices at the upazila level. The Directorate has requested the public to refrain from responding to such recruitment notices without proper verification.
This warning was recently issued through a notice signed by Dr. A.B.M. Abu Hanif, Director (Administration) of the Directorate General of Health Services.
The notice states that a fraudulent organization has recently been established using the name 'Upazila Mother and Child Community Health Center, Public Health Project 2025.' This organization has published recruitment notices for positions of Upazila Health Inspector, Unit Officer, and Health Assistant, showing an address in Mohakhali, Dhaka. For this purpose, applications have been solicited by forging the name and signature of the Director (Administration) of the Health Directorate, and the notice has been disseminated through social media platforms.
The notice further states that the aforementioned organization is neither under the jurisdiction nor control of the Directorate General of Health Services. An unscrupulous group publishes such fake recruitment notices for fraudulent purposes.
The Directorate General of Health Services has requested the general public to remain vigilant against such misleading notices. Additionally, an appeal has been made to identify those involved and hand them over to law enforcement agencies.
