Habiganj mother poisoned 3 children to get close to the boyfriend!

News Desk: Fahima Khatun, a pagan mother, wanted to kill her 3 children by poisoning her with juice to get a foreign lover. One child died but fortunately two survived.

Fahima Khatun made a confessional statement under section 164 in the court of Habiganj Senior Judicial Magistrate Touhidul Islam on Tuesday. After giving his confession in court, he was sent to jail.

Additional Superintendent of Police Mohammad Rabiul Islam confirmed the information at a press conference at his office on Tuesday night.

He said Akhter Mia, who lives next door to Fahima Khatun, wife of Sirajul Islam, an easybike driver from Uchail-Charinao village in Rajiura union of Habiganj Sadar upazila, had been having an extramarital affair for a long time. At one point they dream of building a house. But Fahima's 3 children stood in the way.

On the evening of November 18, Fahima bought two litchi juices from a shop next to her house and gave them to her boyfriend Akhter Mia. Add poison to Akhter Mia juice.

Later, Akhter Mia and Fahima Khatun called 3 children from the yard and fed them juice. After eating the juice, Fahima's 3 children started to squirm due to poisoning.

Later, with the help of locals, 3 children were taken to Habiganj Sadar Adhunik Hospital. The other two children Tofazzal Islam and Rabiul Islam recovered after receiving treatment at Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital.

Then the issue of Fahima and Akhtar's extramarital affair came to light. Fahima's husband Sirajul Islam filed a murder case against his wife Fahima and three others.
