Distribution of awards to farmers for increasing production of oil crops in Faridpur

Faridpur representative:  As compared to the previous few seasons, the production of oil crops has increased in Faridpur, and prizes have been distributed among the farmers. The event was organized by Faridpur Agricultural Extension Department on Tuesday (April 30) at Tepakhola farm in the city.

Under the chairmanship of agriculturist Rafiqul Islam, the chief guest Faridpur District Commissioner Kamrul Ahsan Talukder handed over the prizes to the farmers. According to the Faridpur Agricultural Extension Directorate, the production has increased by 25 percent in the last four seasons and stood at 35 thousand 233 metric tons.
