Net reserves increased by 51 million dollars during the week

Economy Desk:  The net or real reserve of foreign currency of Bangladesh has increased. During the week, the net reserve increased by 50 million 94 million 70 thousand dollars. On Thursday (April 5), Bangladesh Bank's report highlighted this account of reserves.

According to the report, according to the accounting system of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the amount of net reserves currently stands at 1 thousand 996 billion 57 million 10 thousand dollars. A week ago it was 1 thousand 945 crore 58 lakh 40 thousand dollars.

For more than two years, foreign exchange reserves have been in a tailspin. Reserves were not increasing at the rate at which they were depleting. As a result, foreign exchange reserves were constantly decreasing. Over the past two months, the situation has started to improve somewhat. As the foreign exchange reserve decreases, it is replenished again. As a result, about 51 million dollars increased in a week.

Along with net reserves, total reserves including various funds in foreign currency also increased. According to the data of Bangladesh Bank, the total reserve amount has increased to 2 thousand 529 million 76 million dollars. A week ago it was two thousand 481 million 19 lakh 90 thousand dollars. 48 million 56 million 20 thousand dollars increased in one week.
