A young man died after being hit by a train in Pabna

Pabna Correspondent:  An expatriate youth named Anjan Kumar Saha (28) died after being hit by a train at Ishwardi in Pabna. He died in the early hours of Sunday (April 28).

The incident took place on the railway line near Ishwardi railway gate. Deceased Anjan Kumar Saha is the son of Anant Kumar Saha of Piarakhali Jamtal of Ishwardi town area.

Locals said that Anjan's family had a falling out. Due to this, he left the house at night. Later in the morning, his strangled body was found on the railway line.

According to the police, Anjan had been in Singapore for several years. He returned home from Singapore five days ago. He was also physically ill. He was killed by the border express train early on Sunday morning.

Ishwardi Railway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Habibur Rahman said, initially it is believed that Anjan Kumar Saha committed suicide. His head was severed from his body. His body has been sent to Pabna Hospital Morgue for post-mortem.
