Mymensingh Correspondent: One week after the death of Sheikh Jalal Uddin, the organizing secretary of Road Transport Workers' League of Bhaluka Upazila of Mymensingh, Jalal's little son and family were taken over by Mohammad Abdul Waheed, an independent member of parliament elected from Bhaluka. He went to Jalal's house in the municipality on Friday 22 March 2024 and inquired about his family and announced to pay 50 thousand taka in cash and 20 thousand taka per month for family expenses.

Taslima Akhter, wife of deceased Jalal, said that the MP always inquired about my husband when he was sick in the hospital and gave financial donations. Today again he came to our house and inquired. He has announced to give us 50 thousand taka per month in cash and 20 thousand taka to run the family. It will benefit us a lot. We pray for the MP sir, may Allah keep him well always.

Asaduzzaman Sumon, general secretary of Bhaluka Press Club said, our Bhaluka MP is an international industrialist, he always donates crores of rupees for the development of the area and social development. He is a philanthropist, he always inquires about the leaders and activists and gives financial assistance to the needy. That's why he was elected as an independent MP candidate in this election with huge votes.

In this regard, Bhaluka MP Alhaj Mohammad Abdul Waheed said that the late Sheikh Jalal was a dedicated worker of Awami League and spent his youth in politics. Can't do anything for family members. We are saddened by his untimely death. He was slogan master in all kinds of processions of Awami League. He died last Tuesday after spending the last few days in hospital. I announced at his funeral that I will take charge of his family. As a result, today I went to his house to find out. And the support of Jalal's family will continue every month.
