Beef started selling at 665 taka per kg in Feni

Feni Representative: Selling of beef has started in Feni at the rate of Tk 665 per kg. The program started at PTI school grounds from seven in the morning on Thursday. A consumer can buy up to three kg of meat at a low price. Each kg will have 800 grams of meat and 200 grams of bones. Under the overall supervision of Feni Municipality, meat will be sold at an affordable price from seven in the morning to two in the afternoon until Eid.

Feni Municipality Mayor Nazrul Islam Swapan Miyaji inaugurated the sale of beef at Tk 665 per kg. And Nizam Uddin Hazari, Member of Parliament of Feni-2 Constituency and General Secretary of District Awami League, is giving money for this work. Municipal Mayor

Swapan Miyaji said on the occasion that this initiative has been taken to break the syndicate of dishonest sellers and to control the market price of meat. And the slaughter of cows will depend on the demand of the buyers.

Consumers are also happy to buy meat at a lower price. They demanded to sell meat at this price even after Eid.
