Tangail district Awami League protest march and protest meeting held

Md. Rashed Khan Menon (Russell), Tangail: Protest marches and protest meetings were held in Tangail to demand justice and punishment for those involved in the nationwide series of bomb attacks on August 17. On Wednesday (August 17) morning, Tangail local Shaheed Smriti Municipal Park, organized by Tangail district Awami League, organized a procession from different areas. After the discussion meeting, the protest march started from the municipal garden and circled the various roads of the city and ended at the municipal garden. Tangail District Awami League President Fazlur Rahman Khan Farooq, Zilla Parishad Administrator, was present in this program. Advocate Joaherul Islam Joaher, Member of Parliament of Tangail-8 Constituency, General Secretary of District Awami League, gave a welcome speech at the meeting. Member of Parliament for Tangail-(7) Constituency Khan Ahmed Shubo, Member of Parliament for Tangail-(5) Sadar Constituency Chanwar Hossain, Member of Parliament for Tangail-(2) Constituency Tanveer Hasan Chhota Monir, Youth League Presidium Member Advocate Mamunur Rashid, Tangail were present. District Awami League Joint General Secretary Khandaker Ashrafuzzaman Smriti, Organizing Secretary Jamilur Rahman Miron, Tangail City Awami League President Municipal Mayor SM Sirajul Haque Alamgir, Tangail Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Alhaj Shahjahan Anshari, Vice Chairman Shamima Akhtar along with Awami League, Jubo League, Chhatra League, Tanti Leaders of different levels of Awami League including League, Mahila League.
