Benapole Correspondent: As a result of previous enmity in Jessore's Sharsha, miscreants killed fish worth 10 lakhs with poison tablets in the enclosure of a fish farmer named Ahmed Ali Gazi. The incident took place in Panburia village of Ulashi union of Sharsha upazila. The victim made a written complaint to the Sharsha Police Station. It is known that Ahmad Ali Ghazi, son of deceased Mandar Ghazi of Panburiya village of Sharsha Upazila of Jessore, has been making a living by farming fish on a lease of 10 bigha land at a place called Kuchemura on Navaron Satkhira road for a long time. Recently, he had a dispute with Zakir Hossain, son of Bazlur Rahman of the same village. Meanwhile, Zakir threatened Ahmad and said that he will kill all the fishes in your area with poison tablets within 2/1 days. Because of this, Zakir Hossain's leadership led by Hazrat Ali's son Bilal Hossain and Wahab's son Shariful Islam Sharif of the same village killed all the fishes in the enclosure of Ahmed Ali with poison tablets. Before this, Zakir had poisoned the fish in Ahmed's enclosure several times. As he was influential, Ahmad Ali went door-to-door to every community but nothing was done. Mamun Khan, officer-in-charge of Sharsha police station, said, "We have received the complaint, we will investigate the matter and take action according to the law."
