Al Masud, Panchagarh: A group of youths caught tiger fish weighing 30 kg in the border river Mahananda in Tentulia upazila of Panchagarh. Which has been sold at Rs 15,000 per kg at Rs 45,000. On Tuesday (July 5) at noon, a group of 11 people caught the fish from the river Mahananda in the south Kashimganj area of ​​Banglabandha Union of the upazila. When the fish is caught and taken to the market, the curious crowd gathers to catch a glimpse of the fish. It is learned that 11 youths from Dakshin Kashimganj village of the upazila went fishing in the river Mahananda with a big net at noon. At one stage of fishing, they get a sense of a big fish. Realizing the location of the fish, the young men cast their nets into the river. Once a tiger fish was caught in their net. However, as the river Mahananda in the border upazila flows from India, many are speculating that this huge tiger may come from India. However, tiger fish is caught in the river Mahananda every year. This is the first time we have been able to catch such a big fish weighing 30 kg.
