Farmer dies in lightning strike at Bogra Adamdighi

Bogra Correspondent: A farmer died in a lightning strike while tending a pepper field at Adamdighi in Bogra. The incident took place at around 12 noon on Friday in a crop field near his own house in Komarbhog village of Chhatiangram union of the upazila. The farmer killed in the lightning strike was 21-year-old Zahurul Islam. He is the son of Moslem Uddin of Komarbhog in Chhatiangram. Adamdighi police sub-inspector (SI) Pradeep Kumar Barman confirmed the matter and said Zahurul was tending pepper and other vegetable fields near his house around 12 noon. He died on the spot due to lightning. Upon receiving the news, the scene has been inspected.
