Twin baby dies after drowning in canal water in Bogra

Sanju Roy, Bogra: A twin child drowned in the river canal at Gabtali in Bogra. The accident took place in Ichhamati river canal in Dakshinpara area of ​​Baiguni union of the upazila on Tuesday. The deceased were identified as Hasan and Hossain, 3 They are the sons of Milon Sarkar of Baiguni Dakshinpara. The matters have been confirmed by Sirajul Islam, OC of Gabtali Model Police Station. He said the twins were playing near the house in the afternoon. At some point, they fell into the river canal. When they did not return home after a long time, the locals along with the people of the house started searching. After seeing the two children floating in the river canal, they were rescued and taken to the Upazila Health Complex. The doctors on duty there declared them dead. The OC further said that the bodies of the children have been handed over for burial as there was no complaint from the family.
