Shahzada Minhaj, Lohagara (Chittagong) Correspondent: In Lohagara, Chittagong, allegations have been leveled against the heroic freedom fighter as a 'broker', against Upazila Administrative Officer Md. Moslem Uddin. On Wednesday morning, the victim, Deputy Commander of the Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad, Bir Muktijoddha Abdul Hamid lodged a written complaint with the Bengal Upazila Nirbahi Officer. It is learned that on Wednesday morning, Deputy Commander of the Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad Bir Muktijoddha Abdul Hamid Bengal accompanied by local journalists visited the office of Mohammad Moslem Uddin, Administrative Officer of the Upazila Nirbahi Officer's Office. At one stage, Upazila Administrative Officer Moslem Uddin slammed the freedom fighter Abdul Hamid Bengal in front of the journalists for brokering on behalf of the journalists. He said that the heroic freedom fighter had felt extreme humiliation and disrespect. Mohammad Moslem Uddin, administrative officer of the Upazila Nirbahi Officer's Office, said that he called the heroic freedom fighter Abdul Hamid Bengal Nana. So he joked that he had "come to broker for journalists". He expressed regret over this. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sharif Ullah said, the matter is sad. The administrative officer has been warned in this regard. If such incidents occur in future, action will be taken against him.
