Ambassador Jabed Patwari meets with the Rector of King Saud University in Riyadh

News Desk: Ambassador Dr. Badran Al Omar, Rector of King Saud University in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Mohammad Jabed Patwari BPM (Bar) held a meeting on Wednesday, February 10 at noon. During the meeting, the ambassador discussed various issues with the rector. Ambassador Dr. Mohammad Jabed Patwari BPM (Bar) requested to increase scholarships for Bangladeshi students in this large university of Riyadh.

He also proposed bilateral communication and joint research between teachers of the two countries. Rector Badran Al Omar said the university always has job opportunities for talented teachers from any country. Ambassador Dr. Mentioning that BPM (Bar) Bangladesh is celebrating its golden jubilee of independence this year, Mohammad Jabed Patwari requested to organize a seminar on bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia, history, heritage and development of Bangladesh at King Saud University in Riyadh.

King Saud University Rector Professor Badran Al Omar said about 35 Bangladeshi students are currently studying at the university and all are doing very well. At the time, the rector praised the Bangladeshi immigrants living in Saudi Arabia, saying that all the Bangladeshi immigrants from university teachers to ordinary workers are working in Saudi Arabia with great reputation and devotion.

King Saud University in Riyadh has about 24 faculties, with about 60,000 students studying; Of which there are about 15 thousand students from 90 countries. Besides 35 Bangladeshi students, 16 Bangladeshi teachers are also working in this department with distinction in various departments. Some Bangladeshi teachers have also received awards for research and innovation in various fields.

At the King Saud University Vice Rector. Abdullah Al Salman and officials from the International Relations Department were present. Also present were Riyadh Embassy Counselor Mohammad Humayun Kabir and First Secretary (Press) Mohammad Fakhrul Islam.
