Saudi Arabia-Pakistan will work to increase bilateral cooperation

Online desk: Saudi Arabia and Pakistan will work together for mutual benefits and to further increase bilateral cooperation.

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, who is visiting the country, reiterated their determination to enhance friendly relations between the two countries in a bilateral meeting.

Khalid bin Salman sat in a meeting with Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr, the presidential palace of Pakistan on Saturday. Dawn's news.

The meeting was also attended by Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Army Chief General Asim Munir and Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki. Later, Saudi Defense Minister held a separate meeting with Prime Minister Shahbaz and General Munir and also participated in the Pakistan Day parade.

In a meeting with the Saudi Defense Minister, Zardari said that Pakistan attaches utmost importance to its relationship with Saudi Arabia. Because both countries have fraternal ties due to mutual trust and historical ties.

Zardari emphasized on the need to increase bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields. He also sincerely thanked Saudi Arabia for supporting Pakistan in challenging times.

During the meeting, the Saudi Defense Minister also mentioned the strong historical, strategic and defense cooperation between the two countries.

Khalid bin Salman said both countries should work together and support each other to deepen bilateral relations.
