Reception of freedom fighters in Satkania

Shahzada Minhaj, Lohagara Chittagong Correspondent: On the occasion of Mujib Year, a reception for the heroic freedom fighters of Satkania Upazila was held on December 21 at Satkania Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad on the initiative of Chittagong District Police. Newly appointed Additional Superintendent of Police Satkania Circle Md. Zakaria Rahman Jiku and Satkania Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Anwar Hossain were present as the chief guest at the reception presided over by Commander of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad, Satkania Upazila Unit Command Abu Taher LMG. Among the freedom fighters present were Md. Enamul Haque, Agriculture and Research Secretary of Upazila Awami League, Arun Majumder, Ranendranath Chakraborty, Neel Ratan Das Gupta, Ahmad Mia, Surgeon Ab: Naik Md. Abu Taher, Manager Islam, Humayun Quader, Nurul Islam, Baharul. Imam Chowdhury, Member Islam, Amin Sharif and others.

Speaking as the chief guest, newly appointed Additional Superintendent of Police Satkania Circle Md. Zakaria Rahman Jiku said that those who were once dreamers of independent Bangladesh, who dreamed of an exploitation free Bangladesh and inspired the Bengali nation to walk the thorny path of liberation struggle are no more today. . We got our country through the war of liberation. As a result, we are citizens of an independent country in the world today. We got our own territory, our own flag. All took part in this liberation war irrespective of race, religion, caste, men and women. We all have a responsibility to make this country beautiful. Like the freedom fighters, we will always love the country.
