The decapitated body of a young man was recovered in Kushtia

Kushtia Correspondent: Police have recovered the decapitated body of a young man from Halsa in Kushtia's Mirpur. According to the locals, the body of the youth was recovered from the ground of Halsa Dargah this morning. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Soleman, 18, son of Vadhu Ali of Halsha village. Local ward member Abdul Hamid said the young man was working in agriculture. However, the locals could not reveal the reason for the murder.

Officer-in-charge of Mirpur Police Station Golam Mostafa said the decapitated body of a young man was recovered from Halsa Dargah ground. It is believed that the young man was strangled to death at some point last night. However, the cause of the murder or who committed the murder has not been confirmed yet. Preparations are underway to send the body to Kushtia General Hospital for autopsy, said an official in charge of Mirpur Police Station.
