Aman collection campaign inaugurated in Mymensingh

Mizanur Rahman was the inaugural and chief guest. The Mymensingh Food Department has started a collection drive in Mymensingh district, the only one in the Aman season. Aman inauguration campaign organized by Mymensingh Food Department was inaugurated on Monday (December 6) morning at Sadar Upazila Food Warehouse premises at Radhali Mor area of ​​the city.

At that time, Deputy Commissioner Md. Mizanur Rahman said that miller and farmer friendly environment is being created by cutting various irregularities in paddy collection. Farmers will be able to give paddy at a fair price. I hope the target of collecting aman will be completed this time. Farmers often show reluctance to pay for the process of borrowing money from banks. However, farmers will be more motivated if they can make arrangements to give cash. Food inspectors are requested to practice honesty. He further said, this time we have made arrangements to give cash without giving rice at Christmas. District Food Controller Zahirul Islam said the government was importing rice. Even then the campaign to collect paddy from the farmers is going on. In this case, our farmers will get the right price for their produce. Mymensingh Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Md. Saiful Islam also spoke on the occasion. Officer-in-charge of Sadar Food Warehouse Jannatul Ferdous Khan, Sadar Upazila Food Controller Hamunur Rahman Palash and other mill owners were present on the occasion.
