Ramzan Ali, Satkania Correspondent: The judicial crisis is not over. The judicial process has slowed down due to the crisis. Despite various steps, it was not possible to appoint the necessary judges. Therefore, the judiciary is forced to run with less than the required number of judges. As a result, litigation is increasing. Although there are thousands of cases every day, the trial does not go ahead as there are not enough judges to run the case. In this, the candidates have to go after the case year after year. One hundred and forty years later, there has been no visible development

Satkania Lohagara Adalat Para. There is no high quality building. The buildings that are there are almost dilapidated. Big accidents can happen at any moment. This court needs four judges. But there are two judges. More than ten thousand cases are pending. Within the number of courts in Chittagong district, we have been able to settle 80% of the cases in this court. In many upazilas around us, even after the establishment of courts after us, they have got judges, buildings and all kinds of facilities. Mezbah Uddin Chowdhury Kachir, general secretary of Satkania Bar Association of Satkania upazila of Chittagong district, was talking about these grievances one after another. He made these allegations during an exchange of views with the newly formed Satkania Journalists Forum on December 8.

In the presence of Sunil Barua, president of the Bar Association, he said, "Courts have been established after us in many upazilas around us." But it will be seen that they have many good buildings and good arrangements for the administration of justice. But sadly, the age of our Satkania Lohagara court is around one hundred and forty. We are still conducting the trial in a dilapidated building. We have four courts. But there are two judges. We have been in a judicial crisis for a long time. Due to which more than ten thousand cases are tangled. We have a magisterial court and no magisterial court. In order to file a case under section 145, an ordinary person has to move from Satkania Lohagara to distant Chittagong. Satkania Lohagara has an area of about 540 sq km.

For those who live on the last frontier, it becomes very difficult to handle a case. He added that the court premises were submerged in water as soon as it rained. From the common man to a lawyer and a judge suffer in the rainy season. Officially, these reforms are very much needed, although they have not been done for a long time. Meanwhile, Sunil Barua Mezbah Uddin Chowdhury, president of the Satkania Bar Association, supported Kachir's statement, saying, "We need a court building, a sufficient number of judges and a magistrate court." We have success. We are the first in Chittagong to be able to complete the trial of eighty out of one hundred cases in our court. Therefore, we are appealing to the higher echelons through you for all the demands that are needed to make life easier for the people of Satkania Lohagara, including judges, buildings, magistrate courts. We can only use our pens in justice and our pens up to court

Remains limited. But the pen of journalists goes to the highest level of the country and the welfare of the people is achieved through the pen of journalists. We wish the people of Satkania Lohagara well and a better life through your pen. Advocate Jahangir Alam Babul, Vice President of the Bar Association, Advocate Abdur Rakib Chowdhury, Organizing Secretary Advocate Sujan Palit, Finance Secretary Advocate Thakur Chandnandi and Advocate Rasedul Islam Rashed spoke on behalf of the Bar Association. President Syed Akkas Uddin. He is a lawyer and

Journalists complement each other. One highlights the inconsistency of society and the other applies it to the judiciary. However, if there is no good environment for the judiciary, it is very sad. Our main topic during the formation of our forum was that the Satkania Journalists Forum will speak on behalf of the people of Satkania. Will work for the people of Satkania. So everything including the bad condition of the court building, the crisis of the judges, the absence of a magistrate court is unfortunate for the people of Satkania Lohagara. We promise we will continue to write about these issues until they are officially resolved. He added that the Satkania Journalists Forum will talk about all the inconsistencies in Satkania.

Satkania will talk about improving the quality of life of the people. Above all, he will speak on behalf of Satkaniabasi. Other members of Satkania Journalists Forum were present at the time. It may be mentioned that 26 unions and one municipality together constitute Satkania and Lohagara upazilas and parliamentary constituency Chittagong-15 with an area of 540 km. However, the courts of the two upazilas are located in Satkania municipality. This court has been going through various crises for a long time. At the end of the exchange of views, when the journalists went to see the body, it was seen that there were cracks in most parts of the building. Accidents can happen at any moment. There has been a crisis in a number of issues, including the crisis of the judiciary and the inability to file a case under section 145. The lawyers demanded that immediate action be taken by the upper echelons of the government.
