Two friends were killed in a motorcycle accident in Bogra

Bogra Representative: Two friends were killed when a motorcycle collided with a tree in Bogra Kahalu. Meanwhile, another person was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment in the hospital. The accident took place at a place called Jamgram Muller Sanko on Malancha-Ranirhat regional road of Kahalu upazila around 1 pm on Thursday. Kahalu Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Salim Reza confirmed this information.

The deceased were Shiblu Rahman James (17), Sohanur Rahman Sohan (17) of Bhuskur village of Bhatgram Union of Nandigram Upazila and Rashedul Islam (18) of the same village who was seriously injured. They are friends of each other.

According to the police, three friends went to Indukhur market in Kahalu upazila on a motorcycle. On the way back from there, at a place called Mular Sanko, the speeding motorcycle lost control and collided with a tree adjacent to the road. The motorcycle overturned and all three fell on the road. Shiblu Rahman James died on the spot. Local people rescued two other people and took them to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital. Sohanur Rahman Sohan died on the way. Rashedul Islam is under treatment in hospital with serious injuries.

Among the casualties, James took part in the SSC examination this time. Sohan does not study. Rashedul, who was seriously injured, participated in the Dakhil examination from Madrasa.

OC Salim said that the bodies of the two victims are in police custody. Will be handed over to family after legal process.
