Two killed in auto-rickshaw-pickup collision in Nilphamari

Nilphamari Correspondent: Two people, including a bank official, were killed in a head-on collision between a CNG-powered autorickshaw and a pickup in Nilphamari. Another person in the auto-rickshaw is under treatment at Nilphamari Hospital with serious injuries. According to the source of the incident, the accident took place around 8:30 in the morning on Wednesday at Jordarga on Sayedpur highway in Nilphamari town area.

The two deceased are Nure Alam Siddiqui (36), resident of Khas Naogaon of Naogaon district and officer of Nilphamari Mercantile Bank branch, and Abu Taher (52), resident of Syedpur Upazila, office assistant of Jaldhaka Upazila Fisheries Office. Apart from this, a man named Shahabuddin is seriously injured and admitted to Nilphamari General Hospital.

Eyewitnesses said that in the morning, the autorickshaw coming from Syedpur to Nilphamari was hit by a pickup van when it reached the 9th Ward Jodarga area of ​​the municipal area. Two people were killed on the spot. Officer in charge of Sadar Police Station Tanvirul Islam PPM confirmed the truth of the incident and said that two people were killed on the spot and one is admitted to Nilphamari General Hospital.
