Press conference in Ishwarganj on the occasion of National Fisheries Week

Ubaidullah Rumi, Ishwarganj (Mymensingh): A press conference has been held in Ishwarganj, Mymensingh to celebrate the National Fisheries Week 2022 with the slogan "Bangabandhu's Bangladesh will be full of safe fish". The press conference was held at the Upazila Parishad hall on Saturday afternoon organized by the National Fisheries Week Celebration Committee. In the press conference, Senior Upazila Fisheries Officer A, S, M Sanwar Russell highlighted various activities during the week. The program includes campaigning through miking, banners, festoons, rallies, discussion meetings, distribution of awards, release of fish, screening of documentaries on the progress and achievements of the present government in the fisheries sector, interaction with fishermen and fishermen, operation of mobile courts against illegal fishing, cultivation of fishermen. Providing special consultancy services, soil and water testing in ponds, various trainings, distribution of various materials and evaluation and closing ceremony of National Fisheries Week etc. Upazila Executive Officer Mosa Hafiza Jasmine, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mahbubur Rahman, Upazila Engineer Tauhid Ahmed, journalists of print and electronic media and various officials of Fisheries Office were present in the press conference.
