Fishery week begins in Tentulia, interaction with journalists

SK Doel, Tentulia: Nationwide National Fisheries Week has started with the theme of 'Safe fish country, Bangabandhu's Bangladesh'. On this occasion, on Saturday (July 23) morning, an exchange meeting was held with journalists working in Tentulia Upazila organized by Upazila Fisheries Department. In the exchange meeting, Upazila Fisheries Officer Mahbubur Rahman presented the picture of annual demand and production of the previous fiscal year to the journalists. He sought the cooperation of journalists in celebrating the National Fisheries Week organized from July 23 to July 29. The fisheries officer said that during the pandemic period, various activities have been undertaken with the fishermen at the marginal stage, including campaign miking, banner and festoon campaigns on a limited scale throughout the week.
