Shahjahan Biswas, Manikganj: Sumi Akhter (22), a newlywed bride, was recovered from a locked room in her husband's house at Ghior, Manikganj. On Thursday (July 21) around five o'clock in the afternoon, the police recovered the body from Sholdhara village of Ghior upazila and sent it to the district hospital morgue for autopsy. Deceased Sumi Akter is the younger daughter of Raham Ali of Kakjor area of ​​Upazila. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ghior police station Riazuddin Biplab said, in the afternoon, the police received a call from the phone of a decent man. He confirmed the name and address of 'Russell Molla Rupak' and said that Rupak's wife has injured her mother in this incident and a GD must be done to admit the injured mother to the hospital. He asks for advice on doing GD and asks to arrest the killer wife. In this incident, policemen were sent to the spot immediately. After a search, the police found the bloodied body of wife Sumi Akhter lying on the floor in an abandoned room of the vacant house. This incident created a sensation in the area. Shivaloy Circle Additional Superintendent of Police Nurjahan Labani said, 'Russell Molla is in Rupak Hospital with the injured mother. Initially, it is believed that the murder happened due to a family dispute. We have started an investigation to unravel the incident. Got some information. But for the sake of investigation, it cannot be said.'
