News Desk: At a time when people were suffering due to load shedding, a spell of storms and rainfall across the country reduced electricity demand. As a result, the Power Division reported that there was no load shedding anywhere in the country on Tuesday (April 28).
The information was confirmed in a statement issued by the division on Wednesday (April 29).
It is learned that uninterrupted power supply was maintained nationwide as electricity generation was sufficient to meet the demand.
Earlier, on Monday (April 27), State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku said that the country’s power situation would improve from the following week and load shedding would decrease.
