Painting competition for children and teenagers organized by Bangladesh Embassy in Kuwait

News Desk: On the occasion of Mujib Year and the golden jubilee of the great independence of Bangladesh, a drawing competition was organized by the Bangladesh Embassy in Kuwait for the expatriate Bangladeshi children and teenagers.

The competition was held on Saturday at the Bangladesh Embassy in Misila, Kuwait. The painting competition was inaugurated by Bangladesh Ambassador to Kuwait Major General Mohammad Ashiquzzaman. Depending on the age, four to seven years of drawing in the villages of Bangladesh, eight to 10 years of drawing Bangabandhu, 11 to 14 years of drawing the Liberation War and 15 years of Bangabandhu and freedom struggle in the drawing competition, about a hundred children and adolescents participated.

Inaugurating the painting competition, Ambassador Major General Mohammad Ashiquzzaman said, "It is a matter of pride for us to achieve our independence. We have to educate our children in formal as well as family education." We have to inform them about our history and heritage.

First Secretary of the Embassy and Head of the Embassy Niaz Murshed, Labor Councilor Mohammad Abul Hossain, Passport and Visa Secretary Mohammad Zahirul Islam Khan, Administrative Officer Mohammad Sajedul Islam, Guardians of Children and Adolescents, Leaders of Kuwait Bangladeshi Community and Bangladeshi print and electronic media were present.
