News Desk: The impact of rising gold prices in the global market has also affected the domestic market. Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has increased the price of gold again after two consecutive price cuts. This time the fee has increased by 3 thousand 266 taka.
In a notification on Saturday (February 21), Bajus said that the best quality i.e. 22 carat gold will cost 2 lakh 58 thousand 824 taka. This new price is effective from 10:15 am today.
It is said in the notification, the price of acid gold (pure gold) has increased in the local market. As a result, the new price of gold has been fixed considering the overall situation.
With gold, the price of silver has also increased in the country's market. This time the price of 22 carat silver has been increased by 350 taka to 6 thousand 707 taka. Bajus informed this information in a circular on Saturday (February 21) morning. This new price will be effective from 10:15 am today.
