The death toll in Corona dropped to 22 lakh

News Desk: The second wave of corona is going on in the world and new types of corona have been found in several countries including Europe. Experts believe that it is much stronger than the previous virus.

At present, the number of infected people in Corona has exceeded 10 crore 2 lakh and the number of deaths has exceeded 22 lakh. As of Friday (January 29th) morning, 102,034,007 people had been infected with the coronavirus and 22,910 had died, according to WorldOmiter, a website that keeps coronavirus-infected and fatal statistics. Seven crore 36 lakh 63 thousand 522 people have returned home after recovering.

Corona has the highest number of infections and deaths in the United States so far. In the country which is at the top of the list, 2 crore 73 lakh 36 thousand 606 people have been infected with corona so far. Four lakh 43 thousand 69 people have died. India, which is the second most affected and the third deadliest country, has so far infected 1,020,981 people and killed 1,54,046. The Latin American country of Brazil, which is the third most affected and the second deadliest country in the world, has so far infected 9,060,006 people in Corona. Two lakh 21 thousand 6 people have died. Russia ranks fourth in terms of attacks. So far, 38 lakh 93 thousand 610 people have been affected by corona in the country. The virus has killed 61,751 people.

The UK ranks fifth in the world in terms of attacks and deaths. So far, 38 lakh 43 thousand 734 people have been infected with corona in the country.

Of these, one lakh 3 thousand 128 people died. France is sixth, Spain seventh, Italy eighth, Turkey ninth and Germany tenth. Besides, Bangladesh ranks 26th. Coronavirus transmission began in late December last year in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. So far, Covid-19 has spread to 217 countries and regions of the world including Bangladesh.
