In the last 24 hours, 29 more people have been diagnosed with corona

Online desk:  In the last 24 hours, no one has died due to coronavirus in the country. So far 29 thousand 493 people have died due to coronavirus in the country. 29 people were newly identified on this day. In total, the number of infected people is 20 lakh 49 thousand 287.

This information was informed in a press release about Corona sent by the Department of Health on Thursday (March 21).  

482 samples were tested in 24 hours in 885 labs under government and private management across the country. So far 1 crore 56 lakh 75 thousand 861 samples have been tested.

It is said that 58 people including asymptomatic patients have recovered in the last 24 hours in various hospitals and homes of the country including Dhaka City. A total of 20 lakh 16 thousand 518 people have recovered so far.

In the last 24 hours, the detection rate of sample testing is 6.2 percent. So far, the detection rate considering the sample test is 13.7 percent. The recovery rate for detection is 98.40 percent and the death rate for detection is 1.44 percent.

It also informed that no one came to isolation in the last 24 hours and 14 people got clearance from isolation. So far a total of four lakh 52 thousand 950 people have come under isolation and four lakh 23 thousand 692 people have received clearance from isolation. Currently 29 thousand 258 people are in isolation.  

According to the information of the Department of Health, the first patient of coronavirus was detected in the country on March 8, 2020. 10 days later, on March 18, the first person died due to corona.
