Asha's day long free medical camp held at Naogaon

Naogaon Correspondent: On the occasion of Bangabandhu's 104th birth anniversary and National Children's Day on 17th March at Dhamirhat in Naogaon, the initiative of private development organization Asha is free Medical camp and doa mahfil were held.

Shamim Hossain, senior regional manager of Asha Naogaon (Najipur) district inaugurated the day-long medical camp held as the chief guest at Asha office adjacent to Fatepur Bazar of the upazila under the chairmanship of Asha Naogaon District Senior Regional Manager (Agri) Saifuddin on Monday (March 18).

Before the start of the camp activities, a prayer ceremony was held to pray for the souls of Bangabandhu, the best Bengali of a thousand years, and all the martyred members of his family and the martyrs who gave their lives for the country.

Prayers were conducted by Khidmatul Koran Inta: Hafez Md., founder chairman of Hafez Madrasah. Moazzem Hussain. All the members of Asha, Khidmatul Qur'an Inta: Hefz Madrasah students and local dignitaries participated in the Dua Mahfil.

Besides, Ashar Dhamirhat Region Senior Regional Manager Momin Hossain Khandkar, Dhamuirhat-1 Branch Manager Asaduzzaman, Fatepur Ashar Branch Manager Masud Rana and others were present as special guests in the event.

On this day, in the medical camp held throughout the day at the Asha office premises, about 300 patients were given prescriptions after treatment, diabetic test, weight measurement and blood pressure measurement.

Asha Fatepur Health Center Health Center Incharge Dr. Under the leadership of Ayesha Siddiqa Irene, health assistants Zulekha Banu, Mashroufa Banu, Tania Akhter provided these medical services.
