It is known that this royal mosque was established 500 years ago during the Sultanate rule.

The area has been named Masjidbaria after the name of this mosque. Although the mosque has lost its beauty and heritage due to lack of renovation, hundreds of men and women visit the historic mosque every day. Inside the mosque are some of the oldest surviving examples of Muslim architecture. Adjacent to the mosque is a large tank. Devotees perform ablution and bath here. But the locals have a different idea. Their idea is that the mosque has miraculously sprouted from the ground.

There are two graves on the south east side of the mosque. Yakin Shah and Kalashah of Parganas are lying here. The Entezamia Committee organizes an annual gathering of 30 Kartik every year. In the mahfil, various scholars of the country preached. Local resident Zahid Hasan said the mosque is now an archeological site Under the department. However, many forms of beauty of the mosque have been lost due to lack of renovation for a long time.

In this regard, Mirzaganj Upazila Vice Chairman Shahidul Islam said, if the mosque is renovated quickly, it will become more attractive and attractive. The history and tradition of Muslim rule in Bangladesh will survive for a long time as an Islamic architecture.
