News Desk: Saudi Arabia has recently issued a warning by banning the activities of Tabligh Jamaat. Following this, the Minister of Islamic Affairs of the country Dr. instructed to warn the people about this organization in the sermon of Friday prayers. Abdul Latif Al Sheikh. The directive was given in a tweet on Monday, December 6. Islamic scholars around the world, as well as various organizations involved in the propagation of Islam, have been shocked and stunned by the directives of an Islamic state like Saudi Arabia, which has repeatedly called on the Saudi administration to reconsider its decision.

In a tweet, the Minister of Islamic Affairs of Saudi Arabia described the group as one of the "means" of engaging in terrorism and called on worshipers to point out various aspects of its deviance, deviation and horror. It was also instructed to expose the major mistakes of the organization. Further, it is a gateway to terrorism. Explain to people about their dangers. Islamic scholars around the world, including in Asia, have been shocked by Saudi Arabia's directive to a state of extreme passion for Islam (for holy Mecca and Medina). Their commentary could have been a meeting with Islamic scholars in the subcontinent before such a big decision. They said that the organization, which is spread all over the world, started its journey towards the establishment of pure Islam in the hands of Mohammad Ilyas Kandlabi in Mewa, India about 100 years ago. Experts believe that the main and fundamental task of this mosque-based organization is to encourage ordinary Muslims to follow the teachings of Islam. In fact, he still preaches from village to village. Lessons on how to become an ideal Muslim are given through this organization. It is worth mentioning here that the influence of preaching in Southeast Asia is also significant. There are strong preaching organizations in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malaysia and Indonesia. The organization claims to have 350-400 million followers worldwide. It is said that the aim of the organization is to emphasize on religious issues and strictly avoid politics.

Complaints have been made about its activities in various countries of the world but it has not been proved even today. The Tabligh Jamaat adheres to moderate Islam and does not believe in terrorism in the name of jihad. Therefore, Islamic scholars from different countries have condemned the decision of the Saudi government. In this regard, Javed Akhtar, a journalist and researcher on Islam in various media, said that both Tabligh Jamaat and Dawa, which came under the recent ban in Saudi Arabia, are Sunni Muslim organizations. On the other hand, most people in Saudi Arabia follow the Ahl al-Hadith ideology. Although both sides are in favor of further purifying the practice of Islam, there is a conflict between the two camps. According to Javed, "Tabligh has always been in conflict with the Wahhabis. Wahhabis are more important in Saudi Arabia. The government has banned tabligh under their pressure. ”But when there was a controversy over tabligh in India, the Wahhabis stood by the tabligh. On the other hand, according to many, preaching shows the way to pure Islam, but on the contrary, it is the Wahhabi ideologues of Saudi Arabia who directly and indirectly lead to jihadist terrorism. Naved Hamid, head of the All India Muslim Majlis Moshawarat, said after the incident, "The Saudi statement is not yet clear. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. From which confusion has been created. But it is not clear why an organization will be banned. Zia-ul-Salam, who has written an important book on preaching, commented on the Saudi decision, saying: It is inappropriate to add terror to them.

It is surprising that a state like Saudi Arabia would do such a thing. ' This is reflected in the mosque. Ordinary people in different parts of the country also support them in various ways. As such, Tabligh Jamaat is very popular here. Although the popularity and acceptance of many groups have waned, experts have dismissed fears that Saudi sanctions will have no effect on the region. Pro-Deobandi clerics, including Hefazat-e-Islam, have sharply criticized the Saudi government in the wake of the Saudi decision. Hefazat-e-Islam and other pro-ethnic individuals and organizations have even made statements in this regard.

In a recent statement, Bangladeshi scholar Maulana Ubaydur Rahman Khan Nadvi said the Saudi government could not unilaterally condemn and discourage a 100-year-old movement in this way. In this regard, the best scholars of the world including Maulana Muhammad Rabe Hasani Nadvi, Maulana Syed Arshad Madani, Maulana Mufti Taki Usmani should be consulted.
