Coronavirus: The death toll worldwide is 19.52 million

News Desk: The second wave of corona has started in the world. Meanwhile, a new type of corona has been found in Europe, which experts believe is much stronger than the previous coronavirus. At present, the number of people infected with corona in the world has exceeded nine crore 13 lakhs and the number of deaths has exceeded 19 lakh 52 thousand.

As of Tuesday (January 12th) morning, 9,13,15,008 people had been infected with the coronavirus and 19,052,069 had died, according to the World Omiter, a website that keeps track of the number of coronavirus infections and deaths. 6 crore 52 lakh 8 thousand 102 people have returned home after recovering. Corona has the highest number of infections and deaths in the United States so far.

At the top of the list, 2 crore 21 lakh 43 thousand 198 people have been infected with corona so far. Three lakh 65 thousand 249 people have died. In India, which is the second most affected and the third deadliest country, 1,46,9,913 people have been infected and 1,51,384 have died so far.

In the Latin American country of Brazil, which is the third most affected and the second deadliest country in the world, 61,333,833 people have been infected with corona so far. Two lakh three thousand 618 people have died.

Russia ranks fourth in terms of attacks. So far 34 lakh 25 thousand 259 people have been affected by corona in the country. The virus has killed 72,263 people. In the United Kingdom, which is in the fifth place, 31 lakh 17 thousand 517 people have been infected with corona so far.

Of these, 61,960 died. France is sixth, Turkey seventh, Italy eighth, Spain ninth and Germany tenth. Besides, Bangladesh ranks 26th. Coronavirus transmission began in late December last year in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. So far, Covid-19 has spread to 217 countries and regions of the world including Bangladesh.
