Chittagong (North) Correspondent: Bhujpur police have recovered the body of a man named Gopal Hazari (55) at Fatikchhari in Chittagong. The deceased has been identified as Gopal Hazari, son of late Shankar Hazari of Brahmanpara Kali Bari, Ward 2, East Suabil, Nazirhat Municipality. On Sunday (December 20) at around 10 am, locals saw Gopal's body lying on the bank of Dharmachhari canal in Swabil.

After informing the police, the police recovered the body from the spot. According to local sources, Gopal used to drink alcohol regularly. He used to ride his old bicycle regularly. He closed the shop on Saturday night and did not return home. Gopal's family is very weak. He has no land of his own. His family lived in a barn-like house in another place. There was no quarrel or enmity with him. However, even though the locals forbade him to drink alcohol many times, he did not listen to anyone. Many locals believe that Gopal's body was found under the bridge next to a former Hindu crematorium.

Many miracles have taken place in this place many times before. Many people think that something similar has happened in the case of Gopal. Confirming the incident, Bhujpur Police Station SI Rashed said, "After receiving the news, we went to the spot and recovered the body." Locals complained that Gopal used to drink alcohol regularly. The bridge under which his body was found has no railings and a large pillar under the bridge. Presumably, he fell under the bridge and died while cycling under the influence of alcohol. The family of the deceased Gopal has not lodged any complaint against anyone. Later, the body was handed over to his family.
