Captain Jamal Bhuiyan and coach Jamie Day are coming to Dhaka after 7 months

Sports Desk: Bangladesh national football team will play two international friendly matches against Nepal in November. Although the training camp started for this purpose, the coach and captain of the team were not there. Captain Jamal Bhuiyan and coach Jamie Day left Bangladesh in March, shortly after the outbreak of corona.

They have come to Dhaka today after 6 long months. Jamal arrived in Dhaka from Denmark on Thursday morning. In the afternoon, English coach Jamie was accompanied by assistant coach Stuart Watkisi and newly appointed goalkeeper coach Les Clevely. As per the rules, they will not be able to join the team now. Must be in quarantine. Bashundhara Kings' Finland expatriate defender Tariq Raihan Kazi, who has been called up to the national team for the first time, had a light practice with the team this morning after quarantine.

The two matches against Nepal will be held on November 13 and 16 at Bangabandhu National Stadium. The national team started training with 12 players from October 24 under the local coaches. 12 footballers of Bashundhara Kings joined the camp on Tuesday. And today the national team camp is going to be completed as the captain and coach have joined the camp. Bangladesh is going to return to international football after about ten months with the match against Nepal.

The last time Bangladesh played against Nepal was in 2017 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. In that match, Bangladesh lost 2-0 to Nepal and was eliminated from the home tournament.
